Medicare Gap/Suppliement Insurance
- One Shot - changing providers requires a physical after first plan
- G-Plan (covers all except Part b deductable - $268/year)
- All G plans are EXACTLY the same features (premiums differ)
- Covers any location
- N-Plan (covers same as G except for possible 15% upcharge)
- Know if my state allows 15% up charge
- Covers any location
- Medicare and gap insurance does not cover prescription, vision, dental or hearing
- Need a separate 'Plan B' plan to cover this
- Could be CIGNA, Aflac, Blue Cross (check for providers online)
Medicare Advantage
- Medicare Advantage is like a PPO with a network - geographically limited (NO GO)
- Not every Dr will take Medicare Advantage
